Marin bring the all-new Alpine Trail E range to the UK. Lighter, more powerful and purpose designed to offer outrageous performance and value, all with that touch of Marin flair.

This Series 4 aluminium frame is freshly developed by the Californians to be Marin's most extreme electric mountain bike yet. A lighter (1.3kg lighter than previous Alpine Trail E) frame with advanced MultiTrac 2 suspension system balances progression, support and suppleness. The Horst-link design is massively tunable for aggressive enduro riding, resulting in a predictable, fun and capable ride. Marin selected to run the Alpine Trail on a MX wheel set-up for that desired combo of agility and rolling speed.

The geometry is adjustable, allowing you to dial in your sweet spot. Swap out the upper headset cup for ±0.75-degrees of adjustment – go slack for fast descents or steepen it up for tight tech. Chainstay flip chips adjust bottom bracket height by 6mm from 352mm (high, short) to 345mm (low, long) and chainstay length by 8mm from 442mm (high, short) to 450mm (low, long)

The top of line EXR seen here wears the fanciest build kit. Pairing tough, performance componentry with the Alpine Trails modern frame platform.

Bosch Gen 5 CX Line motor

Drive comes from the extremely popular Bosch CX drive unit. This Gen 5 system now pushes out a colossal 120nm of torque resulting in the Alpine Trail E making short work of any climb. Feeding the motor is a large capacity 800wh battery, plenty of juice for a long days shredding.

The brain of the drive system is Bosch’s premium 2in color Kiox 400C display. It’s cleanly integrated into the top tube and connects seamlessly to the Bosch eBike Flow smartphone app – track your rides, plan routes and dial in motor settings
