Great shoes. I bought to use on my mountain bike. As I get older fiddling with laces is more difficult. I read in another review the shoes were not waterproof. This is most definitely NOT my experience. The shoes are much lighter than I'm used to...which is a pleasant surprise, and another benefit.

I'm used to Boa laces in my boots and very happy with the performance of these.

There are so good I purchased another pair.

I'm a convert to the BOA system. I want it on my walking and other shoes too!

I am unhappy, though, with the sizing guidance. I followed the advice and, since it matched my usual size, I ordered a pair of size 42. This size in this shoe was more than 'snug' -- there was no space in front of my toes, and walking just a couple of hundred metres from my bike led to real pain in my nails/nail beds. Simply unacceptable.

I therefore ordered another pair, size 44, and they are just perfect!!

So what do I do with the unwearable size 42? Charity shop, I suppose, but they were quite expensive :-(.
