    Grippy in the dry

    Well balanced and fast tyre. I’m using front and rear on summer dry trails. Good side wall protect where I ride which are standing up well to sharp pieces of granite.

    Usual Maxxis quality.

    Maxxis Ikon

    I love these Ikons as a rear in the summer months. Enough grip in dry conditions, and roll nice and fast which is what you want. Yes some tyres will offer better braking traction, and maybe offer mire grip in the corners leant over (and you'll pay the price when pedalling them), but for a good old fashioned day of cross country riding or light trail use these are a great option.
