So 7 year to the month. May 2018 expensive bike. What it came with. gone through a fair few sets and always keep the old ones.
So quick google search this time to find them and then can see can buy without the metalwork. collar.
Will take that. Got 4 lots of those metal round things. 2 pairs. current worn grips and the ones before. Keep the old things, shed full of bits over the years. Pedals and cassette gears, front gear ring thing the favourites.
So got these as always do. Not nice with no gloves on but as I have on gloves and a few times in a hurry to get out the door, forget, Too lazy to go back, had without. just different as not used to. Guess find, gloves, fingerless (favourites at the moment) or no. No gloves, fine. what you get used to.
Can even get different colours. Only ever had black.

I didn’t know that these refills were available until I looking for some to replace my old handlegrips that are past it now.
I like the idea of being able to reuse the old locking collars and save a few quid too.
