With radical new geometry and the very best kit money can buy fitted to a lightweight but tough carbon frame, the new One-Sixty 10K has nothing to fear from the roughest, toughest tracks and race stages on the planet. Merida's new FAST kinematic design and full 29er or mixed wheel size setup is paired with top-end RockShox suspension including a burly 170mm ZEB fork and Super Deluxe shock, both with Flight Attendant smart lockout technology. We also fit a wide-range, top-end SRAM Eagle drivetrain for crisp wireless shifting.
The One-Sixty is a radical, all-new design that pushes Merida's hard-hitting enduro platform to new heights. Just as well, because once it's there it's ready to rip the longest, toughest descents too. Merida's new suspension system uses a flexstay design with an adjustable rocker, so whether you choose to run it as a full 29er (162mm travel) or mixed 29/27.5" setup (171mm travel), the geometry is preserved. There's a radically steep 79° seat tube angle for goat-like climbing and slack 64° head angle plus 170mm fork to deal with downhill trail chaos. New sizing allows riders to run a longer or shorter reach frame independently of their height, while suspension becomes more progressive as you size up, all with long-travel dropper posts. Wire Port cable routing plus reliable threaded bottom bracket round out the package, while carbon frame models offer on-board tool storage and FidLock magnetic bottle cages.
Merida Sizing -
- X-Short: 145cm - 165cm
- Short: 155cm - 175cm
- Mid: 165cm - 185cm
- Long: 175cm - 195cm
- X-Long: 185cm+
Merida's latest range of mountain bikes makes use of a slightly new approach to sizing. Merida encourage riders to consider their riding style when selecting a frame size.
For example the Mid size frame is suitable for riders of heights between 165-185cm. This means a rider of height 175cm could select a Short frame if the preference is agility, Mid for a balanced ride or Long for stability.
