For years the offset hardware has been used covertly on World Cup circuit by many of the top riders. The offset hardware allows the head angle to be easily manipulated simply by shortening or lengthening the effective eye to eye of the shock.

In recent times as the trend leans towards steeper and faster tracks the bushes have been used to relax the head angle. This makes the bike feel more stable at speed and even more planted on steep sections by throwing the front wheel further forward. The bushes can be used in the opposite way to steepen the head angle to improve the bikes geometry for sprinting if the track is more pedalling orientated. This pitches the rider more to the front of the cockpit and more on top of the bars which is better for sprinting.

The Burgtec hardware allows between 1 and 1.5 degrees of angle alteration depending on the shock bolt size of your frame. 6mm frames will naturally get the greatest amount of alteration with the 8mm frames getting 1 degree.

Our hardware was used by Marc Beaumont when he won at Val Di Sol 2010 World Cup. After Marc’s victory more and more riders approached us about slacking there head angle through the Burgtec offset shock hardware. So we decided to make small production run. “The offset Hardware helped me to get The perfect position on my GT Fury, ready to go Win at Val di Sole and have my best year to date” said Marc.

The hardware is made from grade 5 Titanium. TECH EVO LEVER

For 2012 the lever pivot has been slightly shortened which translates to a 15% increase in power. The Tech Evo lever now has a roller fitted to the cam mechanism, further enhancing the smooth feel of the lever.
Ambidextrous ‘flip flop’ design, CNC machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aircraft spec aluminium alloy - with a split clamp to allow easy set up and choice of positioning.
Redesigned piston, lever and pivot assembly with external ‘on the fly’ reach and bite point adjustment dials. The lever linkage eliminates freeplay in the lever giving a consistent and reliable feel to the brake. Further developments include bearing lever pivots for smooth, rock free use and increased lever ergonomics with a perforated lever for extra grip and feel. Also, a double sided reservoir lid makes for easy bleeding.
The brake is supplied with a choice of either hi tensile polyester reinforced or Goodridge stainless steel braided hose.

V2 CALIPER

Revised one piece caliper, CNC machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aircraft spec aluminium alloy. A drip free bleed nipple and wide angle orientation of the fluid inlet connector have also been added, allowing for neater hose routing and cleaner servicing.

DISC

Available with a floating rotor or our unique VENTED disc. The vented option can reduce surface temperatures by over 15%, making it perfect for long Alpine descents or where fade is a problem through overheating.

The vented rotor is available only for the Tech V2 brake. It is not retro fitable to the other brakes in the range or aftermarket to other brands. It is wider than a standard fixed or floating rotor.

This rotor takes braking performance to a new level. Using the same proven floating design as our other rotors and advanced manufacturing techniques, the internal fins allow the air to flow between the two friction parts. The induced air flow significantly reduces and delays the heat build up in the rotor. Dyno tests show a difference in temperature of 15% between a standard floating rotor and a ventilated floating rotor.

The rotor also gives a better and more consistent braking performance in wet condition thanks to its capability to clear the water layer through the fins.
If you want to abuse your brake in endless descents this rotor is for you.

The 1 high powered LED pushes out 240 lumens on max power! This is the sort of output a lot of lights with many more LED’s, bigger batteries and a greater cost can offer.

The CNC machined lamp body mounts to the NEW! reinforced nylon handlebar bracket, which fit’s both standard and O/S bars with the clever use of removable rubber plugs. The bracket also allows for lateral adjustment of the lamp whilst riding.

The power is provided by 4 AA size batteries. These can be of your choice, and we leave that up to you. As an example though, you can expect to get an average of 3 hours run time on max power from a typical rechargeable battery. The light has a simple on/off/mode switch on the top. This has a new cycle programme which turns the light on in ‘low’ mode and cycles through to the higher settings. This gives better control of the light in tricky situations when more light is needed quickly

The multiple mounting options and quick release bayonet fitting enable quick and easy changes from head harness to handlebar mount to helmet bracket. Whatever your passion is you will soon learn to love the R4 for being there and sharing the experience with you.

Four Cree XPG LEDs flood the path ahead with up to 1000 true, measured lumens of uniformly distributed crisp white light. That’s 65% more light output than its predecessor – the original Vision 4, whilst also being half the weight and 30% smaller.

Burn time with the standard 2600mAh battery pack ranges from 1:15 hours in maximum, to over 8:00 hours in low.
As featured on the Vision R8, the dual sequence operation simplifies and facilitates mode selection. RACE sequence offers the highest of the power levels with an emphasis on light output. TRAIL sequence offers flash mode and the more economical power levels to maximise battery life.

The R4 also features a battery save mode. When the battery life reaches a critical level the lamp will drop down into the lowest power setting and flash every 15 seconds in order to maximise the remaining battery life whilst also providing just enough light to continue with caution. At this point you should take action to either change the battery pack or return home.
The R4 lamp is available as standard with a single 2600mAh battery pack; as an ‘Endurance’ option which includes an additional battery pack allowing up to 2:30 hours in maximum power; or as an ‘Epic’ option which includes the higher capacity 5200mAh battery pack, again allowing up to 2:30 hours in maximum power but with a single battery.

The Vision R8…the new superpower from the North of England…the new benchmark against which all the competition is compared. How much light do you need? You will only know when you see the R8 turning the darkness into light.

Eight Cree XPG LEDs behind our own custom optic allowing user selectable beam anglesprovide you with eight different intensity levels with a light output of up to 2000 measured lumens.

Dual sequence operation simplifies and facilitates mode selection. RACE sequence offers the highest of the power levels with an emphasis on light output. TRAIL sequence offers flash mode and the more economical power levels including selectable beam distribution: spot or flood.

Burn time with the standard 5200mAh battery pack ranges from 1:15 hours in maximum, to over 16:00 hours in ultra low.

Battery condition, operational sequence and power level are displayed on the LCD screen enabling more accurate battery management. The three-colour backlit display glows a subtle HOPE green in race sequence; mellow orange in trail sequence; and fiery red as the lamp warns you of a low battery voltage.

All the components that make up the R8 system had to be overhauled to ensure they were up to the job of handling the increased power. The power connectors now feature upgraded gold plated pins and a new improved waterproof over moulding to maintain a constant power supply to the lamp. The 5200mAh G2 battery pack, new for 2011/2012, allows the lamp to operate comfortably in the higher power levels whilst also improving performance at lower temperatures. The R8 is non-compatible with existing 2600mAh and 5200mAh battery packs.

The R8 lamp is available as standard with a single G2 5200mAh battery pack, or as an ‘Endurance’ option which includes an additional battery pack allowing up to 2:30 hours in maximum power. Both options are supplied with the QR bayonet CNC machined aluminium handlebar mount, which is also new for 2011/2012.

Super lightweight design - CNC machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aircraft spec aluminium alloy, giving smooth, progressive feel and power.
The split clamp allows for quick adjustment and the lightweight machined alloy lever features a textured grip area. Lever reach is adjustable via allen key and the master cylinder reservoir is integrated to allow easy bleeding.

BOLTS

A mix of 10 titanium and 2 aluminium bolts are used on the Race X2, helping to keep the weight below the 275g mark.

This neat, slimline caliper optimises the very latest COSMOSWorks FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software to reduce unnecessary weight,improve aesthetics and create a high performance partnership with the superlight Race Evo Lever. The caliper is machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aircraft spec aluminium alloy and an increased piston diameter, generating more usable braking force on the rotor. A drip free bleed nipple and wide angle orientation of the fluid inlet connector have also been added, allowing for neater hose routing and cleaner servicing. The Race X2 pads are backed with a alloy plate for lighter weight.

The external bottom bracket is available with two different bearing options. All common systems are covered with this upgrade unit, making it ideal for Shimano, Race Face and Truvativ (extra conversion kit required).

The machined aluminium cups hold either full stainless steel cartridge bearings, or ceramic bearings in stainless races. These custom, Swiss made bearings are double sealed which gives much greater life span than stock units. They are also replaceable.

The unit is suitable for 68 & 73mm shell width’s - with an 83mm width version and a specific road unit.

With the Pro 2 hub being so versatile, we now offer rims from DT Swiss, Mavic and No Tubes to create a complete range of wheels suitable for all uses.

New for 2011 (after many requests) we have added a 29er rim to the range. This is the excellent No Tubes Crest 29er. This is built using Sapim Sprint spokes which build a light, stiff wheel.

For the XC crowd, we have the DT XR400, Mavic XC717 & No Tubes CREST. This means that tubeless is now a real option and there is a rim to suit every XC need.

For the more aggressive rider, or those riding bigger bikes & terrain - we have the DT Swiss EX500, Mavic D521 and No Tubes Flow rims. Again, this gives the option of a tubeless setup and a choice of dedicated freeride rims.

We finish the Pro 2 EVO range with a classic - the Mavic EX721. No other options here - why would you need them? This combination builds into a bombproof, thrashable & reliable wheelset that fits just about any frame and fork axle type (this is also avaialble in a 150mm width).

The Pro 3 SP-XC3 wheelset has been designed specifically with weight saving in mind. To achieve the sort of competitive weights required for racing and performance riding, weight has been taken from the hub and rotor - instead of using fragile, overlight components in the rim and spokes.

The resulting wheel is a perfect mix of strength to weight, which has already been taken to many race wins. We suggest a rider weight limit of 85kg. This is only a guideline, but common sense should be used with regards to the type of riding they will be used for.

The 3 fixed arms on the hub help to create a stiff mounting point for the rotor, reduce weight and help to dissipate heat effectively. The hubs have stainless steel bearings and use the proven ratchet system as used in the Pro2 and other Pro3 hubs.

Wheels are supplied with NoTubes Crest rims and are built and hand finished in Barnoldswick using Sapim Sprint double butted spokes and brass Polyax nipples.The NoTubes Crest offers the rider the choice of running tubeless as well as a superlight overall weight. This wheel screams FAST! The wheels are 24 hole drilling.

Wheels are available individually or as a pair and come complete with rim tapes, spare spokes and nipples and rim stickers. Both wheels are QR and the fronts are supplied with a 15mm conversion and the rear is convertable to 10mm bolt through (NOTE: this hub cannot be converted to 20mm).

We wanted to create something that offers similar benefits with regards to weight savings as the dedicated 3 bolt design, but in a slightly more ‘conventional’ package - hence the 6 bolt disc fixing with this hub. We see this as a more ‘lightweight trail’ wheel, as well as a great racing option.

This wheelset is supplied with No Tubes Crest rims. The wheels are built and hand finished in our Barnoldswick Factory using Sapim Sprint double butted spokes and brass Polyax nipples.

The Stans No Tubes Crest offers the rider the choice of running tubeless as well as a superlight overall weight. The rims are 24 hole drilling.
These are lightweight XC & race orientated wheels. We suggest a rider weight limit of 85kg. This is only a guideline, but common sense should be used with regards to the type of riding they will be used for.

The super light straight pull hubs run on the same stainless steel bearings used in the SP-XC3 and have the same axle options (QR & 15mm front and QR or 10mm bolt through rear). A new addition to the Hoops RS lineup. This latest wheelset bridges the gap between entry level and race performance.

The wheels take the reliability and lightweight of the standard Pro3 Mono and add a stunning design and high level component specification, making them a perfect choice for performance orientated events and training.

We have used a 30mm alloy aero section rim, with a reliable 24 hole rear and lightweight 20 hole front drilling. The aero section is super stiff and more aerodynamic than a conventional square section rim.

The wheels are hand laced, built and hand finished in house at our Barnoldswick factory using Sapim CX Ray SP spokes and Polyax alloy nipples.

The new Pro3 SP hub used is the same as found in the high end carbon wheelsets and is a stunning example of our CNC machining capabilities. The efficient straight pull flange further adds to the stiff construction, whilst the low profile design means a clean look is still achieved.

The proven 4 pawl drive mechanism is used as in all our other hubs, whilst the super smooth running and long lasting stainless steel bearings keep these wheels on the road for longer. An option of Shimano or Campagnolo freehub bodies are available.

With the Pro 2 hub being so versatile, we now offer rims from DT Swiss, Mavic and No Tubes to create a complete range of wheels suitable for all uses.

New for 2011 (after many requests) we have added a 29er rim to the range. This is the excellent No Tubes Crest 29er. This is built using Sapim Sprint spokes which build a light, stiff wheel.

For the XC crowd, we have the DT XR400, Mavic XC717 & No Tubes CREST. This means that tubeless is now a real option and there is a rim to suit every XC need.

The Pro 3 SP-AM4 wheelset joins the SP-XC3 3 bolt version to give the option of a unique, lightweight super stiff all mountain wheel to those looking for something that little bit different. The wheel is a stunning blend of function - from the stainless steel bearings and multiple axle options, to form - with the clean 4 bolt rotor fixing and straight pull flange design.

The 4 fixed arms on the hub help to create a stiff mounting point for the rotor, reduce weight and help to dissipate heat effectively. The hubs use stainless steel bearings and the proven ratchet system as used in the Pro2 and other Pro3 ranges.

Rim choices on the AM4 include DT Swiss EX500, Mavic D521 and EX721 and the Stans NoTubes Flow. All are built using Sapim Race double butted spokes and brass nipples. These rim choices reflect the type of riding this wheel is designed for. Aggressive XC, all mountain and freeride - and with the classic EX721 rim laced up - it creates a perfect DH wheelset. Stainless bearings for reliability and longevity and all the common axle options available. Double butted spokes and brass nipples for strength. Stiffness from the straight pull design and a rim that will take a beating. Looking for a DH wheelset? Look no further....

The NEW District 3 rear safety light is bright! Now that may sound like an obvious statement - but until you’ve seen one of these on, in the dark - amongst other lights, reflectives and distractions you won’t quite believe it!

The light came about as a result of the many poor quality rear lights we made our way through during a wet and harsh winter of commuting and night riding. We wanted something that could withstand the harshness of the weather, be ultra visible on our daily commutes as well as work reliably every time we switch it on and stay put on the bike longer than a couple of rides!

So, the District (Red light... get it?!) was born. We’ve tested it extensively over the last 18 months and have found it to tick every box on the list. The most obvious thing came from those commuting - come rain or shine (and much like a bright front light that we are now all accustomed to did when it was first released a few years ago) this powerful tail light really makes drivers of vehicles and other road users so much more aware that you are there. You are given a wider birth when overtaken. Not pushed along in traffic.
The light can be used in conjunction with an existing Hope Vision 2 & 4 front light and battery unit, or as an independent item. Buy the lamp, mounting bracket and splitter cable as one item, or as a complete unit with battery and charger.

The 5 function output takes minimal power from the battery, only affecting burn times by 6-20 minutes depending on mode used.
The neat QR bayonet fixing securely attaches the lamp to the mount (we’ve yet to lose one!) and is quick release enough to allow speedy removal from the bike when leaving it alone. Whether you use the light on the road, or off the road - you’re sure to be safe in the knowledge that you’re doing as much as you can to stay visible from behind and fighting back against ‘close calls’ from impatient motorists and other road users...

The all new DH stem has been introduced to meet the demands of this high stress part. The solid billet of 2014 T6 aluminium is machined to create a hugely strong stem, whilst every effort has been made to reduce unnecessary weight. We've increased the amount of material in and around the steerer clamp, bar clamp and mid sections and added a 3rd bolt to the steerer clamp. The oversize bar clamp remains with 4 bolts, but with a new design whereby 2 bolts are clamped first as a pair, followed by the second 2, which helps to distribute loads evenly through the bar and decrease stress in this area.

The bearings are made by INA and have been designed to run directly on the crankset axle, without the use of shims or spacers - again increasing life and reliability.
We use a non contact, free running labyrinth seal to protect the bearing externally, and the machined aluminium centre tube is sealed internally with o-rings.
The unit is suitable for 68 & 73mm shell width’s - with an 83mm width version and a specific road unit.
Standard 6 colours are available on cups - red, blue, silver, black, gold and gunsmoke, with the centre tubes being black on the stainless and gunsmoke on the ceramic.
