Urge Archi-Enduro Helmet Racing Red 2012 Published : 20-January-2012

There are an increasing number of Enduro, All Mountain or Super D riders worldwide, specific disciplines that require dedicated equipment. The helmet is one of these. We created the Archi Enduro by following the ideas and feelings of some of the best Enduro riders of the planet like Mark Weir, Florian Golay, Théo Gally and Jason Moeschler.

The Archi Enduro offers the same protection as our DH helmet, the Down O matic. But the Archi also offers an optimal level of comfort thanks to its reduced weight, high breathability and shorter back, allowing the rider to comfortably wear a backpack.

The Archi Enduro is revolution in itself: it is simply the first and the only Enduro-race helmet available on the market.
Not only it is a unique helmet, it is now also available in the Veggie version, made from natural linen fiber.
And like for the entire 2012 range, the straps are made from recycled PET.
2 shell sizes: (S/M 54/57cm) and L/XL (58/60cm), delivered with pads of different thickness in the box to fit your head perfectly.

CE1078/ CPSC Certification

Fiberglass or Linen/fiber construction (Veggie model)

Special Enduro front and neck shape

Special EVA foam mouth piece

Removable and washable pads

ABS visor with vent

Available in 2 sizes (S/M, L/XL)

Weight: 820 g

-->

Mule Bar Energy 10 Pack Published : 02-January-2012

All you require for an Adventurous day out.

The energy 10 packs are fully boxed. Individual flavours may vary.

What’s in it? Does it do the business? How can it satisfy both ends of the active spectrum? – Good question. MuleBar is used by the likes of Javi Gomez Noya, 2008 World ITU Triathlete Champion. The England Rugby team eat MuleBar and so do 17 of the best riders in The Tour de France. See information on our Mules for more. MuleBars work on a very simple premise: that what is natural is good. What is carefully selected for the unique energy giving potential is good. A natural mixture of ingredients made the way nature intended and picked for their broad spectrum of energy providing sugars and fats makes for the perfect bar, fuel with flavour, is good. The more processing, the more additives, the more artificial ingredients a bar has the more likely it will not make for a better energy bar, especially if talking about improving your performance and health. The same applies for any other activity too. The more additives put into a human body, the more the body has to work to process them and the more time the body is working in that way, the lower the performance level. Burgtec Offset Shock Hardware - 7009 22x8 40x8mm Published : 02-January-2012

For years the offset hardware has been used covertly on World Cup circuit by many of the top riders. The offset hardware allows the head angle to be easily manipulated simply by shortening or lengthening the effective eye to eye of the shock.

In recent times as the trend leans towards steeper and faster tracks the bushes have been used to relax the head angle. This makes the bike feel more stable at speed and even more planted on steep sections by throwing the front wheel further forward. The bushes can be used in the opposite way to steepen the head angle to improve the bikes geometry for sprinting if the track is more pedalling orientated. This pitches the rider more to the front of the cockpit and more on top of the bars which is better for sprinting.

The Burgtec hardware allows between 1 and 1.5 degrees of angle alteration depending on the shock bolt size of your frame. 6mm frames will naturally get the greatest amount of alteration with the 8mm frames getting 1 degree.

Our hardware was used by Marc Beaumont when he won at Val Di Sol 2010 World Cup. After Marc’s victory more and more riders approached us about slacking there head angle through the Burgtec offset shock hardware. So we decided to make small production run. “The offset Hardware helped me to get The perfect position on my GT Fury, ready to go Win at Val di Sole and have my best year to date” said Marc.

The hardware is made from grade 5 Titanium. Which is significantly lighter than its steel hardware counterpart but still maintaining the same excellent wear rating when compared to OE Aluminum ones; Approximately 3 times. The hardware comes supplied with a proprietary o-ring seal to keep out as much of the elements as possible. As well as DU bushes.

The Hardware will suit all ½” shock eyelets so Fox, Marzocchi, Rock Shox 08 onwards.

The Offset bush kits cover the bikes below. If your bike is not covered on the list below please check the sizes below the bike list and we we be happy too make up a kit for you and add your bike too the list.
-->

Hope Tech Evo V2 Brake Published : 29-September-2011

TECH EVO LEVER

For 2012 the lever pivot has been slightly shortened which translates to a 15% increase in power. The Tech Evo lever now has a roller fitted to the cam mechanism, further enhancing the smooth feel of the lever.
Ambidextrous ‘flip flop’ design, CNC machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aircraft spec aluminium alloy - with a split clamp to allow easy set up and choice of positioning.
Redesigned piston, lever and pivot assembly with external ‘on the fly’ reach and bite point adjustment dials. The lever linkage eliminates freeplay in the lever giving a consistent and reliable feel to the brake. Further developments include bearing lever pivots for smooth, rock free use and increased lever ergonomics with a perforated lever for extra grip and feel. Also, a double sided reservoir lid makes for easy bleeding.
The brake is supplied with a choice of either hi tensile polyester reinforced or Goodridge stainless steel braided hose.

V2 CALIPER

Revised one piece caliper, CNC machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aircraft spec aluminium alloy. Hope Vented V2 Rotor Published : 29-September-2011

The vented rotor is available only for the Tech V2 brake. It is not retro fitable to the other brakes in the range or aftermarket to other brands. It is wider than a standard fixed or floating rotor.

This rotor takes braking performance to a new level. Using the same proven floating design as our other rotors and advanced manufacturing techniques, the internal fins allow the air to flow between the two friction parts. The induced air flow significantly reduces and delays the heat build up in the rotor. Dyno tests show a difference in temperature of 15% between a standard floating rotor and a ventilated floating rotor.

The rotor also gives a better and more consistent braking performance in wet condition thanks to its capability to clear the water layer through the fins.
If you want to abuse your brake in endless descents this rotor is for you.

SPECIFICATION

CNC machined and laser cut in Barnoldswick, England

All parts made and hand assembled in house

Only available in 203mm

Only compatible with V2 caliper

Available with Black, Blue, Gold, Gunsmoke, Red or Silver centres

Weight 283g

-->

M4 CALIPER

The one piece caliper is CNC machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aircraft spec aluminium alloy. The M4 caliper uses four identical 16mm phenolic pistons which gives more usable power to the brake, whilst keeping our ledgendary "feel". A drip free bleed nipple and wide angle orientation of the fluid inlet connector have also been added, allowing for neater hose routing and cleaner servicing

SPECIFICATION

CNC machined in Barnoldswick, England

Externally adjustable Tech Evo lever

9.74 caliper with all mount options

2014 T6 aluminium alloy

Wide angle hose connector mount

Top entry pad fitting

Fixed or floating rotor

Black or braided hose

160, 183 + 203mm rotor sizes in 3, 4 or 6 bolt

Weight: from 400g

With it’s revised caliper and brilliant Tech Evo lever, the M4 offers a wide range of riders the power and adjustability they need.

-->

Hope Stainless Bottom Bracket Published : 28-September-2011

The external bottom bracket is available with two different bearing options. All common systems are covered with this upgrade unit, making it ideal for Shimano, Race Face and Truvativ (extra conversion kit required).

The machined aluminium cups hold either full stainless steel cartridge bearings, or ceramic bearings in stainless races. These custom, Swiss made bearings are double sealed which gives much greater life span than stock units. They are also replaceable.

The bearings are made by INA and have been designed to run directly on the crankset axle, without the use of shims or spacers - again increasing life and reliability.
We use a non contact, free running labyrinth seal to protect the bearing externally, and the machined aluminium centre tube is sealed internally with o-rings.

The unit is suitable for 68 & 73mm shell width’s - with an 83mm width version and a specific road unit.

Specification

CNC machined in Barnoldswick, England

Custom stainless steel and ceramic bearings by INA of Switzerland

Internal and External sealing

Bearings replaceable

Colours: Black, Silver, Red, Blue, Gold and Gunsmoke

Weight: Stainless 110g, Ceramic 107g

Sizes Available: 68/73mm, Road and 83mm

Compatible with: Shimano, Race Face and Truvativ (Truvativ requires extra adaptors)

-->
