Biketape
What is Biketape?
Biketape is the best quality frame protection tape available. We’ve supplied it to over 4,000 customers so far.
Sometimes known as helicopter tape, it is a clear tape formulated to protect your bike from chips and scratches. When applied it is invisible, hard wearing and extremely long lasting. It is manufactured by 3M and is UV resistant so will not yellow in the sunlight.
Available Sizes
Biketape is available in 5cm, 7.5cm, 10cm and 15cm widths and in 1 or 2 metre lengths. We recommend 5cm, 7.5cm or 10cm wide tape for most mountain or road bike frame tubing, and 15cm tape for extra large tubing on some suspension swingarms for example.
The tape can be cut down into smaller pieces as appropriate or for cutting pieces for forks, crank arms etc. It’s great for using as cable rub patches.

We don’t recommend this 3M tape for anodised frames. It is a gloss finish.
