Maxxis Minion DH F Tyre - Single Ply
The Minion is a very well respected tyre.
The single ply version of the Minion comes in seperate front and rear varieties and is available in two different compounds.
This single ply variety is lighter weight making it more suitable for XC/trail use.
The 42A compound is sofer to give the best possible grip. The 60A compound is a bit harder for longer life. For out and out performance go with the 42As, but use 60As if you want a set you can leave on your bike all year. As the front tyre wears less than the rear, putting a 42A on the front and a 60A on the back is a good choice.
Typically riders run a Minion F and a Minion R, but some like to run a F on the rear for added grip.
Tubeless (UST) versions are listed seperately.
Dual-ply versions of this tyre are listed seperately which are more suitable for DH.
