Named after our neighboring city, Portland, Oregon, the P-town is the wheel we all wanted and couldn't wait to build. Partnering with hub manufacturer White Industries has been great for our race wheels - now it is perfect for our P-Town. P-Town wheels are built on custom ENO and ENO Eccentric hubs and are available in multiple configurations. Now just about any frame can be turned into a stylish townie with Rolf Prima P-Town wheels.
Where to start? Working off the legendary White Industries ENO platform, the P-town is available in 120mm or 130mm rear spacing. Use the standard model for horizontal dropout frames and the Eccentric ENO for vertical dropout 130mm. Now you can turn virtually any frame into a headturner town bike with a set of P-Towns.
Deep. Silver. Shiny. Sweet. Pick all 4. The 34mm tall deep-section alloy clinchers don't just look great, they are torsionally stiff so your work turns into forward motion. Going fixed? Well you might not care that the brake tracks are CNC machined for use with rim brakes. If you like stopping or live near the steeps, that brake track is handy.
Spoke and Nipple
The P-Town's are not built to just look good. They are built to last. These wheels use the spoke and nipple technologies that we use for our pro athlete race wheels - because walking sucks if you should be riding. Silver, straight 14 gauge custom bladed profile spokes and internal alloy nipples with nylon inserts contribute to superior, long-term durability and our patented, Jacketed Nipple Design™ reduces spoke bending loads to increase spoke life.
Rolf Prima P-Town wheel systems include custom reinforced rim tape and CNC'd frame bolts.
